Dikkie Scipio took part in It Happened Here: NetherlandsNow—Framing the Future, a symposium organised by AIA New York and CultureNOW as part of the #Future400 celebrations, marking 400 years of Dutch American cultural exchange. The event brought together architects and heritage experts from both sides of the Atlantic to discuss the future of the built environment.
In her presentation, she reflected on the urgency of sustainability through longevity, emphasising that what is made well lasts and that this is architecture’s most enduring contribution to the future.
