On 27 February, Dikkie Scipio joined Cocktails & Conversations, a series of dialogues about design that brings an architect together with a critic, journalist, curator, teacher, or colleague to discuss current architecture and urban design issues.
In dialogue with Claire Weisz, FAIA, Hon. FRAIC; Founding Principal WXY, the evening reflected on the humanity of materials, craft, and the responsibility of building to last. The conversation explored how material choices, environmental context, and precision in making shape architecture.
The event was organized by the AIA New York | Center for Architecture Architecture Dialogue Committee and coordinated by Abby Suckle and Stephen Johnson.
