On Thursday, 26 November 2020, the Loenen Pavilion was officially opened in a ceremony attended by the Dutch king, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander. The ceremony took place in the central auditorium of the Pavilion, after which the King visited the adjoining National Veterans Cemetery and the Field of Honour.
