The project aims to open the 13th-century Santa Clara convent to the public while preserving its heritage and addressing the challenge of integrating public access to its introverted garden. The project encloses existing galleries to create a circular route around an enclosed garden, maintaining the original layout. New architectural elements provide security while creating an open space internally, inspired by the symbolism of the enclosed garden. It includes an archaeological research center, museum, and multi-purpose spaces.

The buildings are divided into sections: the western part houses the archaeological center, while the eastern part focuses on restoring the convent’s typology. The sloping terrain is utilized effectively, with depots underground and redesigned terraced gardens. The museum establishes a clear route with renovated exhibition spaces. The landscape design reconnects the historic garden with its past, incorporating water through a closed-loop system using rainwater storage. Distinct areas within the convent walls feature different vegetation, including a forest-like section, fruit tree orchards, a terraced vegetable garden, and an edible garden.
